I voted for Obama the second time because I knew Romney and his elitist country club people wouldn't piss on blue collar people if they were on fire.

No I didn't vote for Bush but I respected him as he galvanized America after 9/11. When he stood there at the Trade Center and when he threw out the first ball, he was a true leader.

Who do I want in 2016? No clue yet.

and I met Bush's dad the first Bush. Shook his hand as well as Reagan at the 1980 Republican debate in U of South Carolina.
and funny when you anser honestly, some people respect that. Some don;t. Such is life, I guess.

In 2008, I voted for Obama, but in 2012, I voted against Romney as the worser of the two evils.

I like the way W conducted himself after 9/11 too, but not for throwing out the first pitch at a baseball game, which is sort of superficial IMO.

Universal Health Care is completely doable. It's done in many countries and can be done here.

One example -

Denmark is not the United States. With the gimme gimme gimme culture here, universal anything will rarely be viable.

Why is it that people don't understand that cultures, countries and it's citizens are vastly different and there is not one single solution for everyone's problems?

To be clear, I'm not an Obama supporter and never have been.

What is the point of your OP.

Some of you are way too entrenched in this partisan hack game.

I realize it's the lowest hanging fruit and the easiest thing to attack, but the partisan game is nothing, it's almost totally useless.

Challenge yourself, think bigger, learn more, don't just settle for ripping on the opposite party. There is so much more in play.

First of all gun control will never happen.

Give the DEMs one more term of appointing SCOTUS justices and see what is left of the constitution.

Give them one more generation of controlling our schools and see if anyone remembers what the constitution ever said.

DEMs = 'new normal' redefined to fit the fad de jour.

Anything to pander to the takers at the expense of the makers.

Anything to buy a cheap vote to keep their elite in power.

To the DEM supporters - name me one principled DEM on the national scene who would not sell out your grandchild for a new alien voting bloc.

and which republican who would sell out any working class stiff for the NRA money or Koch brothers finances. On the other hand I and you know money talks so that's politics.

Funny how you complain about the Dems with minorities. The Repubs represent whitelandia.

not intervening more in russia, syria, libya, iran...is what i like most about Obama.

I couldn't care less about making imaginary red lines and giving lip service. It sure beats the hell out of going to war and wasting another couple trillion and countless lives.

Now he just needs to get us the frick out of Afghanistan for good

Russia is doing this becuase his boy got booted in Kiev and an opportunity presented itself.

dont be so US-centric to believe that Putin is doing this because of Obama. He didnt seem to give a shite that GWB was in office when he invaded Georgia.

Now - if Putin has the balls to invade a NATO country - then yes, hes calling Obama a pussy.

Jeauxbleaux,

As a Jewish man, how in the world could you have voted for Obama in 2012? Even if you didn't know what he was all about in 2008, by 2012 you had seen Obama trying to prop up the bloodthirsty Muslim Brotherhood all over the Middle East, and you should've noticed the total disdain with which he treated Israel during his first term.

I just don't see how you could've even entertained the possibility of voting for that man by 2012.

He isn't, however Odrama's worldliness precludes even Putin taking anything this idiot says seriously.
