The board did not make the post. You did. You said Obama was wrong.

As the DOJ has taken no action, what is the basis for your claim? You seemed confident in originally making it, yet keep dodging. It's odd.

My impression is the DOJ and FBI are ignoring precedent, and weaponizing the law in a dangerously partisan way.

Yes, because the FBI certainly doesn't have a long history of that.

So another dodge.

re: the FBI certainly doesn't have a long history of that.

The FBI has a long history of seditious actions to undermine a sitting POTUS with false charges, followed by raiding his residence after his term in office to remove evidence of their previous actions?

I'm not aware of that history. You have an example?

Hence why the non liberals of this board and nation see the weaponization of dc against their conservative views to be unjust.

If only the rioters from the summer of love were still rotting in a dc jail.

The FBI has an agenda, and its was laid out in Bidens speech about the MAGA terrorists.

Good attempted deflection though.

You people just killed a kid because of his political beliefs. That’s completely driven by the rhetoric you people spout on the daily.

Conservatives arguing that words kill people. What a time to be alive.

Nor does it = "long history".

Ignoring precedent and weaponizing the law referred to the DOJ/FBI claimed basis for the raid on Trump in the absence of any action remotely similar for Obama.

But yes, one goal of their raid was to seize evidence which could expose their own prior internal corruption.

Both actions against a POTUS/ex-POTUS are novel. There is nothing remotely like it in US history. In the USSR, Communist China, PolPot regime ... yeah, there is precedent. But not in this country.

Ah, I'm pretty well read on Hoover. But perhaps you are better informed. When did Hoover order a raid on an ex-POTUS's residence?

So then naturally you don't support trump doing it either. Or is that diffe(r)ent?

Maybe he supports the punishment be delved out chronologically.

Obama "broke the law" first, therefore HE should be investigated and punished FIRST.

After the Kenyan is put in prison for his various crimes, THEN we can move on to Trump....

Fine by me. Same time even better. Something tells me you'd have a change of heart when it came to Trump's turn though.

I love how leftists like to project and say conservatives are the ones who are against equal punishment for the same crime, hahaha

How is it even a controversial argument to say that if some arbitrary standard is going to be applied to Republicans, then it should equally be applied to Democrats? That's not whataboutism. That's common logic. Whataboutism doesn't just completely absolve the other party for the same "crime".

August 12, 2022, statement

The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) assumed exclusive legal and physical custody of Obama Presidential records when President Barack Obama left office in 2017, in accordance with the Presidential Records Act (PRA). NARA moved approximately 30 million pages of unclassified records to a NARA facility in the Chicago area where they are maintained exclusively by NARA. Additionally, NARA maintains the classified Obama Presidential records in a NARA facility in the Washington, DC, area. As required by the PRA, former President Obama has no control over where and how NARA stores the Presidential records of his Administration.
