I hadn't seen anything from Obama. I'll give him credit for saying something, but Kimmel outright lied about the shooter's politics. There's no valid reason for 1) blaming Trump, or 2) trying to make Jimmy Kimmel any kind of victim. He i'snt.

Historically, U.S. presidents are supposed to step aside and retire from public discourse after their terms are done. Not only did Jimmy Carter (democrat) ignore this, then Bill Clinton (democrat ) stayed in the arena alongside his wife. But then Obama (democrat) did them all one better. The fricker didn’t even leave Washington DC, purchasing a house nearby so he could run the Biden administration when Joe was “away” in Delaware.
But incredibly Trump denied both of them. First defeating Hillary, and then reclaiming the White House after Joe’s abysmal one term.

He was in it for the money. Obama and Clinton’s entered office with very little and left with millions. I believe Obama has the highest increase in net worth pre vs post office. Clinton’s were 2nd I believe. Folks may not like Trump but he doesn’t pretend to be something he isn’t and he’s not in it for the money.

I'll give some people their good laugh for the night, but so much has happened in 8 months. I truly believe that God is in the details and Trump is HIS #1 messenger.
And, I think the best is yet to come. The DOJ and FBI are investigating a lot of bad guys and talking to a lot of people (like Comey's crew for example).
I pray I'm right about this. God + Trump is infinitely stronger than Trump alone, although I do marvel at Trump's skillset. Imo, no other man on the planet could have stood up to what they've put this man thru. NOBODY.
