If JFK is ranked behind LBJ on this list compiled by "presidential scholars," I will literally lose my mind. "Presidential scholars" has a ring of elitism to it as well, just sayin

These people are just cheerleaders for left. I wonder if they even realize that they are seen as a joke.

Who gives a shite?

Rankings are all politics. Nobody is objective anymore.

From politics to sports to the arts, it's all politics.

I’m sure these same folks have Obama ranked very high

I mean there was just so much to love. How do you pick a favorite between the scandals, stagnant GDP, 100 million out of the labor force, ISIS running rampant, losing our AAA rating, racial division, etc...

You can major in that?

What are you gonna do in college Steve? Start a company?

Nope, I'm gonna judge people who were way better than me.

I would like to hear about their ranking criteria and see if they can justify if quantitatively.

I'm guessing not.

It’s so difficult to rank Presidents like this. So much depends upon circumstances. Perhaps Trump will be forced to respond to some event and he takes us in a different and better direction. But if he is never presented with a chance for greatness, who knows. He won’t be great on his own, for sure.

I'm looking at the top 10 of this list and that "chance for greatness and succeeded" element is shared by all except 2 people: Obama and LBJ, Obama and his failures with the MidEast and LBJ and Vietnam, if we wanna give LBJ credit for signing the Civil Rights laws into law that's fine maybe I just perceive the "chance for greatness" element in a different light or perspective

The guy that gave us income tax and The Fed is the 11th best president?? Apparently, it helps to have strong socialist or authoritarian leanings to make it to the top of this list. Helping the common American citizen doesn't seem like it was a factor in the rankings.

Make "the world safe for democracy," World War I, that moment of greatness that Wilson accepted and thrived upon, in that respect he likely supplants Obama and LBJ in the top 10 who really can't claim that. The trend I'm noticing with the "presidential scholars'" list is every one of those presidents listed near the top, except Obama and LBJ, seized on a pivotal moment that affected world history at-large and really elevated America's stature in the world. My theory is it plausibly could be the logic they're using to compile this list as screwed up as that sounds.
