If you haven’t figured it out yet you’re ignorant.

FFS , I am AGREEING with you, and you STILL find something to bitch about ... because I am not agreeing loudly enough
No dipshit, you are intimating that there is some possible way that making it illegal to utter words some group deems offensive, may not be a violation of the First Amendment. I guess nobody should be surprised coming from you, but it’s just another ridiculous assertion.

Obviously not, because that is simply not what it says.

It's still hard for me to believe sometimes that the progressives are going along with bullshite like this. This flies right in the face of everything a true liberal used to believe in. I guess they are willing to sacrifice their most deeply held beliefs for the chance at power, which is disgusting beyond the pale.

Why not just quote what it does say? Why play the coy game with cheerleaders. Just drop the boom!

Jesus Christ Hank
You've been in rare stupid troll form lately.
Sheesh

I have no idea whether I found every ordinance that de Blasio references in his memo, but the ones I have seen are pretty generic “protected class” pabulum.
Check Title 8 of the city code.

He's hanging his hat on the idea that it MIGHT be constitutional because it says you can't use the words when motivated by hate...……….
Good luck defending yourself in court when they argue that you used the term because you hate and you try and say nuh uh.
Sheesh Hank has been doing some dancing on pin heads lately

Given that's the phrase the SCOTUS uses, good luck enforcing that...
Posted on 9/29/19 at 12:53 pm to ShortyRob
Have YOU read the ordinances, Shorty? Unlike the other dimwits, I would not expect YOU to express an opinion without doing so.

Careful, AggieCrank. My town has passed an ordinance, fining you $250,000 for telling someone they are speaking without knowing the facts.

It's like links and cut n paste iare difficult.

Yes. I did.
And they're brazenly unconstitutional.
Yeah. I know that OP didn't characterize it perfectly. But your pretense is equally bullshite

If they really want to make some money the term needs to be "white supremacy".
That'll fast track the $$ going into the judicial system

quote:Yeah, I never said ANY of that. I simply said that the memo is more-clearly a constitutional violation than the actual ordinances.

They're both clearly unconstitutional

You people are absolutely delusional.
If you want to argue the actual ordinance might have a shot at passing muster, make the argument and get off the fricking pin head.
Running around saying, "well, that's not EXACTLY correct" while failing to actually articulate your point is trolling bullshite

I think that the memo is worse than the ordinances. I think that the memo goes far beyond the bounds of the ordinances. Period.

That's a position. Defend it. Or, shut the frick up and stop trolling.

Both the memo and the ordinance are unconstitutional.
Frankly, once you get past the point of unconstitutional, I'm not really of a mind to think how far you went past that point to be terribly relevant unless you're trying to play the "hey, look, I'm smart" game in a thread
