Will Lockheed Martin Change The World With Its New Fusion Reactor?

Ariel CohenContributor Energy

quote:

Lockheed Martin’s secretive Skunk Works® laboratory registered a patent in March for a revolutionary technology that could solve the world’s energy problems for good – but don’t pop the champagne yet. The design is for a compact fusion reactor (CFR) which theoretically produces cheap, clean, near limitless energy – all from a device that could fit on the back of a semi. If it sounds far-fetched, that’s because it is. The sustained generation of a fusion reaction has evaded scientists since the idea was first conceived over 70 years ago.

quote:

If Lockheed’s CFR design succeeds, it would represent a paradigm shift greater than the invention of steam power or the internal combustion engine. Currently one CFR unit is designed to produce 100 megawatts (MW) of electricity, enough energy to sustain 80,000 American households, or comfortably power a Nimitz-class aircraft carrier. There are even exciting applications for space travel.

The lack of greenhouse gas emissions, nuclear waste, or safety hazards means that widespread adoption of the technology could halt climate change in its tracks. More than that, it might end global energy scarcity altogether. We are talking about an energy revolution of epic proportions – if we can just get it to work.

As the old adage goes, a commercial fusion reactor has always been “10 years away.” It comes as no surprise, then, that Lockheed announced it would test a compact fusion reactor in less than a year, build a prototype in five years, and deploy the system in 10..

They sound pretty ambition/ sure of themselves...

Check out the tone of this
Seems to be very dissmissive and partisan. I bet some are none to happy about this. Why?

Some rumbles about the TR3B reveal out there...

Either way, the ground level sonic booms that shoot across the continent likely has something to do with this

Air Force fails to acknowledge mysterious meteor that crashed to Earth near US military base

The meteor exploded just above an early warning signal for the strategic US military base

Chris Riotta New York @chrisriotta 5 hours ago

quote:

The US Air Force failed to report a major meteor explosion near a military base in Greenland earlier this summer, leading to concern and confusion.

The explosion contained 2.1 kilotons of force and occurred just above an early-warning radar at the Thule Air Force base in June, according to Hans Kristensen, the director of the Nuclear Information Project for the Federation of American Scientists. Mr Kristensen confirmed the explosion in a tweet on Wednesday, suggesting the meteor could have been mistaken by some as a “Russian first strike”.

Hmmm...

quote:

However, the US Air Force did not release a statement regarding the meteor, or even tweet about the phenomena. When contacted for comment, a representative for the secretary of the Air Force public affairs told The Independent: "We’re not providing any comment on that, except that it didn’t impact operations at Thule."

Per wiki:

The Thule Society (/'tu?l?/; German: Thule-Gesellschaft), originally the Studiengruppe für germanisches Altertum ("Study Group for Germanic Antiquity"), was a German occultist and völkisch group founded in Munich right after World War I, named after a mythical northern country in Greek legend

"Thule" (Greek: T????) was a land located by Greco-Roman geographers in the farthest north (often displayed as Iceland).[12] The Latin term "Ultima Thule" is also mentioned by Roman poet Virgil in his pastoral poems called the Georgics.[13] Thule originally was probably the name for Scandinavia, although Virgil simply uses it as a proverbial expression for the edge of the known world, and his mention should not be taken as a substantial reference to Scandinavia.[14] The Thule Society identified Ultima Thule as a lost ancient landmass in the extreme north, near Greenland or Iceland,[15] said by Nazi mystics to be the capital of ancient Hyperborea.

Thule (/'?ju?li/;[1] Greek: T????, Thoúle; Latin: Thule, Tile)[2] was the place located furthest north, which was mentioned in ancient Greek and Roman literature and cartography

In classical and medieval literature, ultima Thule (Latin "furthermost Thule") acquired a metaphorical meaning of any distant place located beyond the "borders of the known world"

quote:

Still, the incident was confirmed in part by data published by NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, which showed an object travelling nearly 24.4 kilometres per second over Thule on 25 July around midnight.

quote:

It remains unclear why the Air Force did not release a statement regarding the meteor last month. The military branch contacted its “space command” during the incident, the Military Times reported in a piece debunking claims about the explosion.

quote:

Scientists discover water ice on moon's surface. Here's why that's big news. The water could provide a critical resource for future expeditions.
by David Freeman / Aug.21.2018 / 5:07 PM ET

quote:

For the first time, scientists have found what they say is definitive evidence of water ice on the surface of the moon.

The discovery suggests that future lunar expeditions might have a readily available source of water that would make it easier "to explore and even stay on the moon," officials at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory said in a statement Tuesday about the discovery.

quote:

Previous research had shown the existence of water deep beneath the lunar surface. There was also tentative evidence of water ice on the surface at the lunar south pole, but no proof until now.

quote:

In addition to helping sustain lunar missions, the discovery improves the business case for mining water on the moon, Philip Metzger, a planetary scientist at the University of Central Florida, told NBC News MACH in an email. "It will make Mars missions more affordable for SpaceX and for NASA," he said. "It will also help establish the cislunar economy," he added in a reference to commercial enterprises that link the moon and Earth.

Skidmore and Fitts agreed to work together to investigate the issue further. Over the summer, two MSU graduate students searched government websites, especially the website of the Office of Inspector General, looking for similar documents dating to 1998. They found documents indicating a total $21 trillion in undocumented adjustments over the 1998-2015 period.

Roughly $1 trillion a year over the 1998-2015 period, about 25% of the 2018 Federal Budget or roughly twice the amount of the annual Defense budget.

That's a vast amount of money claimed to be "undocumented."

Yes. Unfathomable is not being hyperbolic in this situation

quote:

An Official Presentation on the History of AATIP and Current State of Affairs
August 30, 2018

quote:

What I'd like to do tonight is just briefly go over a little bit about the program. A little bit of the history, what it is, what it isn't. Then maybe, where do we go next? What do we do? As you see here, Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program; it is indeed aerospace. I know some folks that said aviation, some folks at the Pentagon said aviation. I can assure you here tonight, it is indeed Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, AATIP.

quote:

Multi-medium travel. Why would that be important? Again, you see here there is some strategic surprise meaning you now have an object that can operate in air, water, space. Probably gives you some target flexibility. And a last but not least, battle-space dominance meaning you can operate in virtually all environments, any time, anywhere. Then the last one is positive lift. Of course, why would that be important? As we see here, we're looking at flight perception. I do not have to be moving like an aircraft to generate lift under my wings. That would be a tremendous benefit. Loiter capability, I can stay on time, on target for longer. Then last but not least, decreased signature. So, you can see these focus areas are really DOD-centric. They are part of the core DOD mission both from a defensive and offensive perspective. This is how those fives observables that we saw the commonalities if you will, how they fit within the DOD mission because some people will ask you, "Why was DOD looking at this? Shouldn't NASA be looking at it?" Well sure, NASA could look at it but so should we. Next slide please I guess that's me. I'm hearing whispers behind the curtain, "That's you."

quote:

I am confident and I'm cautiously optimistic that in the next year we are going to have a fundamentally different conversation than we're having today. I think there's going to be additional fidelity to a lot of the things that have come out recently that are going be able to ... having sound trouble. That are going to help us have a better understanding of what it is we're actually seeing here."

Look for the podcast with the same name

The pilot and the radar operator are interviewed seperately

I will note that they describe something that is able to navigate through air/space and water (while defying known physics...) as does the presenter in the post above

There is a movie available to rent on ROKU Fandango's PPV called UFO Chronicles. Scientists say that aliens have mated with humans. They speak about Presidents involvement and how Rockefeller went to the WH to get Presidents to disclose.

Thank you for setting this up!

Been following the "everything" thread since the beginning (OG) and was bummed when the aliens got bumped to the side: IMO it's important to explore ALL avenues.

Would be awesome. Talk about a job killer though. It would make all power plants obsolete. Coal, gas, and nuclear. It would then have a devastating effect on the natural gas industry.

The Thule air base name is interesting if you know the history of the Thule Society.

The Thule Society founded the NSDAP (Nazi) Party.

What is lesser known is a group called Vril society made up of women who claimed they could communicate with extra terrestrials. They claimed to have plans given to them by Extra terrestrials for an anti gravity aircraft. They supposedly gave these to Rudolph Hess (former Thule member and deputy Fuhrer to Hitler). It was known the Nazis were trying to develop anti gravity.aircraft

Every member of the Vril society disappeared in 1945 right after the war. No bodies found, no documentation, no sight of any of them since, or their families.

This is all factual info. Now whether the Vrils claims are true isn’t known of course.

But think of operation paperclip. Is it possible we kidnapped Vril members to obtain their knowledge to try to develop an anti gravity aircraft?

Why Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Are A National Security Risk And Also An Opportunity For Progress

By Luis Elizondo for Medium.

quote:

Say the person who first learned how to harness fire never shared it with the next generation, or the person who invented the telescope threw it away when he was done using it. What if the creator of the wheel decided it was too labor intensive for others to build and decided, “Forget it”?

As a species, we’re meant to evolve. And we needed those advancements to get to where we are today. Reports of strange crafts with seemingly inexplicable properties have been circulating within the U.S. Government for at least 70 years, which suggests it isn’t going away. There is “something out there.”

Declassifying certain information about UAP and sharing it with the public could lead to new technological discoveries, new forms of medical research, and a broader view of how humanity understands reality.

quote:

Scientific truths help push society forward.

At this point, there’s no question about whether UAPs are out there — they are. People can choose to either continue to live with their heads buried in the sand, or they can take a proactive approach to the phenomenon.

Centuries ago, when mankind first stood on the shores of a beach and contemplated sailing across the horizon, the chorus shouted, “You’re crazy! You’re going to fall off the Earth! There are sea monsters!”

But now, in the 21st century, people travel across oceans every day. What our ancestors thought were sea monsters are great white sharks, blue whales, and giant squid. It turns out that they’re just another part of our natural environment.

Once people committed to discovering the truth for themselves, it was no longer mystical, it was just nature. But because government processes demand secrecy when it comes to classified information, false knowledge about UAPs spreads rapidly. Secrecy empowers people selling their snake oil and YouTubers profit from peddling their ill-informed narratives about UFOs. Soon people start believing Elvis lives on the mothership — just as they once believed you could fall off the edge of the Earth.

The more knowledge people have, the better they will be able to master their own destinies, and not be held hostage to the monsters of their imaginations.

You should check out some of Stephen Greer's speeches on youtube. He says most ufos are man made and the long term goal is a false flag alien invasion. Its really the next step up after Pearl Harbor and 9/11. Fascinating stuff. His documentary Unacknowledged on netflix is great too.
