What they don’t understand, is that no one needs New York. And they don’t have leverage.

And they will really drive the city, and the state, off a cliff it they continue to act like this.

Because most of the Puerto Rican immigrants who make up the majority of the citizens in that area live on hand outs from the federal and state government. They are welfare leeches and didn’t want anything to do with a job. Those jobs would have caused more transportation headaches and raised the rent on the lazy arse Democratic base that lives there.
