This is what I don’t get. Even if the drug was ineffective, maybe the placebo effect would be beneficial. And why isn’t this covered in Trump’s “Right to Try” legislation?

46 years. Billions of dosages administered and more safe than an aspirin.

A lot of people fighting for Ivermectin use should be recognized once the truth comes out....

THEY being Big Pharma, with the help of CDC, FDA..
I get this part of it from the government's standpoint. They are filled with greedy a-holes and see the average citizen as a number and not a person so it makes sense. What I don't get is some random person on this message board being so bent out of shape about Ivermectin. Why are people giving this story a thumbs down? What do the downvoters stand to lose if Ivermectin really does work as well as these stories indicate? I don't understand the mindset on this.

She was so bad, she was in a coma
COVID Patient in Coma Gets Ivermectin After Court Order
May 6, 2021 -- A 68-year-old woman with COVID-19, who has been in intensive care in an Illinois hospital for a month, started receiving the controversial drug ivermectin (Stromectol) this week after her family sued the hospital to have someone administer it, according to a report in the Chicago Tribune.
Nurije Fype's daughter, Desareta, filed suit against Elmhurst Hospital, part of Edward-Elmhurst Health, asking that her mother receive the treatment, which is approved as an anti-parasite drug but not approved for the treatment of COVID-19. Desareta Fype has been granted temporary guardianship of her mother.

Any word on whether or not this woman developed a pill ulcer or stomach upset? I think that’s what we really need to know.

One that has been taking $ from Pfizer or the hospital did. While the hospital is playing politics with this woman's life, Elmhurst Hospital is part of Chicago & the closest Dr. was 2 hours away. Something is not right here. I am so happy that this woman is alive because once they have put you on a ventilator (which big $ for the hospital) your chance of survival is greatly diminished.
