Well we have to see what happens, but yes, I generally think they have the stronger position. The person that doesn't blink is going to win this. While I think Schumer would fold like a table at a wrestling match, Pelosi has a bit stronger fortitude.

You do realize that wall funding passed the house just before Christmas, right?
It died in the SENATE. Pelosi isn't in the Senate. When Pelosi challenged Trump to put his wall funding bill to a vote, and warned him that he didn't have the votes, she didn't mean he didn't have the votes in the House (which he did), she meant he didn't have the votes in the Senate (which he did not.)

the only issue I have with the shutdown is that the employees (likely) get back pay. We are paying them not to work. that really pisses me the frick off.

Schumer does what Schumer does for Schumer's reasons. If his reasons coincide with Pelosi's (which I imagine they would), then he's going to do what Pelosi wants - coincidentally.
I'm no fan of Nancy Pelosi, but I'll be damned if that retarded president isn't making her look like a fricking genius. Trump is WAY in over his head with a Democratic House. He has never been in any similar kind of situation. He's used to surrounding himself with sycophants, he's never had to fight it out with anyone he couldn't just fire on the spot.
