Just scooped up another 1k rounds of 223 and some 45 auto off of this site, paid out the arse for them though. But its nice that they break down the price per round.

My next go around (if things ever die down) will be an AK platform with 7.62x39. Best option going right now for the money

Same here, easy to find, if you want to pay top dollar.

Cost I would guess

So glad I’ve spent the last two years buying ammo every week. Of course it’s good to have ammo if I need it for the gun, but I think it might end up being currency at some point.

Yeah, I know it is for the bulk, but that price nowadays is a unicorn deal. More realistically I know somebody that has a lot of the Hornady BTHP, 70 grain I think, in 200 round cases. 10 boxes of 20 rounds. He is trying to figure out how to sell some of it. It would be about 72 cents a round to me. He has a lot of FMJ factory reloads too, that is a bit cheaper.

Absolutely. Anything that has value for at least 1 party is “currency.”

dropped by Academy this morning as they now get shipments on Sunday.

Buying 2 or 3 boxes isn’t worth a trip to academy. I like to buy at least 500 rds at a time. I decided after SH I would never get to the point where I had to worry if I had enough. Last count I had around 60K rds.

I’d rather pay double and have peace of mind that I’m gonna stop a threat without malfunction. It may be a mindset that I change one day. I’m the same way with a gun . Would rather have one Glock and one Daniel Defense than 3 HiPoints and 3 knock off ARs

Back 3-4 years ago you could get 5.56 all day for ~300 per 1k.

9mm would depend on type of round.

Winchester range rounds 40.00 for 200

Home defense would run .80 per round?

There are some people out there that can't be so picky right now. I have what I need, and have had it for a long time. If I didn't already have it, and was on a tight budget, anything would be better than nothing.

This is why it's so difficult for us non nut jobs to find ammo. You people think the end of America is coming every 69 days, panic and stockpile everything. I bet you're one of the ones that bought 200 rolls of toilet paper last spring

I rather be a nut job than a blind man holding my dick when I need ammo. People like you won't be getting ammo for awhile.

Dude I agree we all need guns and ammo but you are way behind if you just realized this.
