theoretically, although I don't know if the vaccines do that. I think the main effect is that they clearly reduce infection and you can't transmit if you're not infected.

I dont give a shite. If I decide to get another Covid vaccine it will be this one. It is a protein based type similar to the flu shot which I get every year.
I resolved not to put another one of those MRNA things in my body so Novavax is the option if anyone feels similarly.

I was able to hold the line until Novavax came out and got it in August. I can’t speak to its effectiveness but I can say that I had no side effects whatsoever with either dose. A little different story than some friends and family who got put on their arse by the mRNA shite.
