I have watched plenty of these. Never has these law things been explained so a 12 year old could understand. Usually the nominee is 12 light years above heads.

As an aside, I called her ACB last night in front of my daughter (no pics, she's in high school you degenerates [she looks like the picture below]) and she was not happy about that (said it was disrespectful).
To her credit, she also said that the "hearings" were ridiculous and the Democrats were acting like asses and that Coney Barrett was more than qualified.

I thought he used his opponent in SC as an example of campaign finance-getting so much money. I must have heard wrong-- was doing several things-my bad.

This line of questioning is exactly what SCOTUS confirmations should be about- the nominee's beliefs on the application of constitutional principles and jurisprudence thereunder (stare decisis, substantive due process, etc., severability, etc...)- and it should be boring AF to 98% of the American public.
