ACB saying that the Voting Rights Act was a triumph of the Civil Rights movement had Feinstein at a loss for words. She wasn't expecting that.

I can't decide if this line of questioning is intentional or if the Ds really are this obtuse.
They keep asking her about certain cases in very broad terms, when the issues are stake are almost always in the specific details of a statute. Feinstein keeps trying to make it sound like ACB is against voting rights.

ACB did a great job to bat that down and say that the entire opinion, to her knowledge, only dealt with pre-clearance. Not the other portions of the law.
