More than that, they expected Americans to appreciate $5, $6, $7 per gallon gas if it forced the country to go green. They were advocating for electricity prices to go up, so that the conversion to green electricity wouldn't result in sticker shock. And the democrat propaganda media dutifully cheered.

Not really temporary. Trump's 25% tariff on China is still there from his first term and now he's just added 10% too it.
But yeah Democrats shouldn't cry about it cause when Biden had the chance to remove the tariff he didn't.
