Why would the Seal Team cut off energy supply to Germany?

The tactical upside is that the US can now prevent Germany from caving on the sanctions against Russia so that the US can maintain its proxy war on Russia using the Ukraine and the EU as expendable assets. I’m not saying it was a seal team. I don’t know who.

Biden Feb., 7, 2022

Pres. Biden: "If Russia invades...then there will be no longer a Nord Stream 2. We will bring an end to it."

Reporter: "But how will you do that, exactly, since...the project is in Germany's control?"

Biden: "I promise you, we will be able to do that."

Disgusted with DC if this is the case. If US Gov will do this to Europe, they will do it us as well. Eventually.

There is only one entity who gains from this. Gazprom gets to declare Force Majeure and no longer be contractually obliged. Then there would be a need to stop technology sanctions to repair it because Russia cannot do shiit in that area, no expertise. Several US companies can repair it using US technology.

As long as gas is flowing it is a hazard to ship traffic including US ships supplying weapons to Ukraine via Poland.

Damn that’s a good point (tech) that I haven’t seen made yet.

Russia just needs to fix the pipeline and a year from now dangle cheap energy over Germany’s head. In the meantime Germany is about to go cold and dark if they do not have an alternative energy supply. Their economy is about to go in the shitter too. In the future if Germany wants to buy Russian gas then Russia needs to demand at least partial upfront payment. Furthermore just roll the costs of these repairs into gas sales to Germany for the next couple of years.

The gas won’t be flowing for long. The upstream valves have been shut.

What angle would MOSAD possibly play in all of this?

Maybe they would stand to benefit from Europe staving for gas this winter.

Just a random thought.

Probably struck with a torpedo from a U.S. submarine.

The big question is how will Russia retaliate. They will retaliate.

We're so fricking dumb that it wouldn't surprise me if we blew up the wrong one.

Something as dumb as "they said pipeline 2 is the one on the left - wait my left or your left?"
