Clayton County resident Melanie Pickett is a Bahamian native but has lived in the Peach State for approximately 30 years.
quote:
ccording to Pickett, she does not “know” “how it happened.”
“I got a driver’s license … and then I started getting” voting-related information “in the mail, and I said, ‘Oh, OK.’ And then I got a jury duty [summons]. So I went to jury duty, and at the end of the information [sheet] you had to fill out, it said, ‘Are you a U.S. citizen,’ and I said, ‘no’ and they told me I could go home,” Pickett said.
“This year, I think, this was my second time trying to vote, and this year they told me I couldn’t vote, and that was about it,” Pickett said during the Dec. 9 SEB hearing. Pickett said, however, that she was informed she was ineligible to vote, apparently due to her noncitizen status.
quote:
But Pickett subsequently said she “maybe” voted three times.
quote:
Twenty noncitizens who were registered to vote had simultaneously declared they were not citizens when summoned for jury duty. Pickett noted during her hearing that she accurately noted on a jury summons form that she was indeed not a citizen.
Though Pickett indicated she voted a handful of times, SEB member Dr. Janice Johnston cited an investigation that found voting records showing Pickett voted 23 times between November 2000 and December 2022.

The SEB ultimately voted to send this case to the district attorney, state attorney general, and Department of Justice.

Hogwash! SlowEsquire said the tapes match the hand count!
There is no way illegal votes from illegals themselves were counted. None!

Question no. 1 - Why has she been in the US for thirty years as a non-citizen in the first place???

I was told by a sidewalk Stanford fan that all elections are clean

If they let her vote... can't she just claim she thought it was okay?
Is this really all on her?

I think this statement is mostly correct. It wasn’t illegal votes from illegals themselves. It was illegal votes harvested by democrats without the illegals even knowing.

I got attacked in a different forum for the following story. Regarding my storey - I was told this was impossible, that I was a liar, that safeguards were in place, that a given person said they worked at the DMV and my story was a flat out lie.
I moved Georgia in 2008. I had to go to the DMV back then to get a new Drivers License. The usual routine, wait a long time, fill out some papers, hand over your old DL, pay a fee, take your picture and then you're done.
I was at the "take a picture" stage and there was a waiting area. In the waiting area with me there were approximately 20 to 25 people ahead of me. Of that group, two or three looked Europan and spoke English when called. The remainder were not European and only spoke Spanish. Draw your own conclusion here.
The kicker - I forgot to mention that as you got your license, they asked if you'd like to register to vote, so I did. Motor Voter - right? I assume they asked the 20+ likely non-citizens the same thing and it's also safe to assume some of these registed to vote and subsequently voted.
That as a long time ago, perhaps it's changed, but that's what happened in Georgia in 2008.

I'll pinch hit for him...
See, the system works- she was caught and there are consequences.
or, he might say...
This isn't widespread and definitely not an issue that would sway an election.

Or,
They only caught one, the system worked, and shows how uncommon this is.

Listen your honor the prosecutor accuses my illegal immigrant client of driving naked and drunk into a nunnery and then teabagging nuns.
This is old news, it happened a year ago, the prosecutor is just repeating his irellevant straw man arguments.
