Both sides definitely do it, but I remember reading that Obama was worth something like 1 million when he got into office and was worth north of 70 million when he left office. Pretty impressive on a 400k salary (or whatever it is nowadays).

True. I heard a list of the top 20/30 "investors" and plenty of Repubs on it. Though more Dems iirc. Pelosi wasn't #1 either. And to possibly burst some bubbles in Florida, Donalds, was on the list.

Yeah the Obama "book" deals need to be looked into. Those deals are definitely pay offs, so audits should be made of abnormal after office deals like that.
