Nikki Haley pinning her hopes on Vermont and Virginia

Mates, this is Nimratas last stand. Vermont is an open primary and Democrats can voice their support of her.
The momentum gained by potentially winning Vermont with the help of crossover Democrats coupled with holding Trump just below the needed threshold might be enough to flip this race on its head.
Haley has slim hopes of winning Virginia or Colorado, but she could win "up to a handful" of delegates from these two states combined.

Her hopes are that Trump is killed or jailed and the nomination goes to the person with the next highest number of delegates.

She’s being paid to be kept in as the default candidate should anything happen with Trump’s candidacy. They do not want to let Trump or his campaign dictate a replacement. It’s a contingency plan for the establishment to gain power
