I care less about the fraud and more about them being in the U.S. at all.

I applaud Shirley for his work, truly. How did we come to a place in this country in which illegal aliens feel emboldened enough to commit criminal acts out in the open?

That's part of the NY Post story. They rob the stores, then sell the goods right in front of the stores they rob. NYC doesn't care. If they did care, they would have done something about it years ago. Instead, they're decriminalizing it

Let me introduce you to diverters, the modern day pirates.

I call a company in the US at their office in Miami, name a company. I say Im here in Trinidad and I want to buy your product to sell, and Im willing to pay cash but I have to have a good price.

Rep in Miami says no problem I can give you a big discount since its all incremental sales......and Ill hit my bonus.

I tell him ship it FOB not CIF (which means I own it once it hits the port, no further documentation). You see I have a contract with my carrier and I can get the best prilce.... He ships it to Miami.

I then divert it to NYC to a wholesaler who pays me cash, I pocket half the discount they gave me and give the other half to my distributor in NYC.

Its a HUGE business, heck companies making their bonus in the states by selling to Wal Mart who then sends to some Latin American country and screwing their own company in that country.

Its why in America you can go to the inner city and see the same exact Gilette razor you are paying double the price for, in chinese graphics, selling on the street.
