Before the game, we were informed that this was the only demographic that mattered
Convenient that it includes young people with minimal buying power that don't mind being accused of horrible things yet will return for more abuse.

And the drop is probably much higher than that. Nielsen just implemented out of home viewing into their ratings in order to be able to include viewers in the business world, as well as in restaurants, bars, hotel rooms and other people’s homes, in the audience counts on which they base their advertising negotiations. They say that should account for a 8-10% lift in ratings for networks. So they are working with a much larger universe and the ratings are still down double digits.

That drop includes all of the KC fans that would otherwise be in the stands. Not a huge factor but that’s 50k extra people available to watch on tv
Should have been a whole lot more TV sets tuned it at home because people who would normally pack a bar to watch a game can't due to bar closures in their area or just stayed home to avoid a covid crowd.

Oh yeah? I was packing parachutes for myself, my wife, and my dog. All while taking ground school lessons for my balloon piloting certificate to take us up to 10,000 feet for our next jump.

Seriously though, congrats for the next step in the never ending road of learning. And also saving some bucks, having a good time, and avoiding the propaganda.

I love football and was going to give them a chance until I didn’t see a color guard and the shirts the women Singing the national anthem wore. After that, I’m done. If coach O wears a blm shirt or one of their sayings I won’t watch them either.

Because they’ve hired minorities in HR who get promoted to executive level and they start setting the woke bullshite policies. Some of these minorities are promoted due to affirmative action and the low bar set for them

Openly insults largest viewing demographic.

Wonders why they negatively respond.

You cannot make this stuff up.

Well, Ferris Beuller was on BBC America. I felt it was more important to watch Abe Froman than the NFL.

The defending Super Bowl champs....and a country starved for football. Their ratings could have been astronomical, but.....

People forget that is a 13% drop from last year. The NFL was already having viewership drops in the previous year because of the kneeling for the pledge BS. It would be interesting to see what was 1st game viewership prior to they started getting political as a league (2016) and this year's first game (2020). My hypothesis, the viewership is off more than 30% if you combine all the losses in the last few years.

We bought a lake house to escape this insanity and I’ve spent the time searching consignment shops for furniture and decorations. Screw waiting until January for furniture to come in from manufacturers. It’s been fun buying piece by piece. Also researched and bought a boat & jetski so now I’ll focus on learning to navigate the lake in my own.
