Wait.... What?! I guess you can say genocide and murder do the same thing, but so? Plus I’m not familiar with any art that depicts child sexual abuse.

EDIT: Read down the comment section. Another jewel from this piece of shite:

quote:

The outrage won’t last because people are assholes. Child molestation was ok before MeToo and it will be ok again. We’ll pretend it doesn’t happen. I don’t think I was being subtle about it

I would love to see the excuse Newsweek has for not firing this clown. Soft bigotry of low expectations if he isn’t let go because he’s from Pakistan.

Would this be why they got a visit from law enforcement recently?

By this standard, maybe we should give all those gymnasts abused by Dr Nasser a National Endowment for the Arts grant. At 170+ abused girls, there’s gotta be a potential Picasso in there somewhere.

Jesus Christ. Let me spell it out: (a) Victims resort to art forms because no one believes them and no one hears them. (b) That was sarcasm aimed at the casual activists who’ve arrived for a fuel break at this issue as a cause

this appears to be some awful attempt at calling out "casual activists"

I don't know how that initial tweet was meant to convey that though, other than getting people's attention?

he's implying that the side responsible for the Satanic Panic and Pizzagate were OK with child molestation? or he's implying liberals were?

It would have been more effective if he said “Child sexual abuse happens but sometimes the abuser becomes head of a murderous religion.”

It's amazing how awful Newsweek has become.

There is no defending the statement made by that editor. No defense whatsoever.
