A human is an animal, dipshit. We all have the same basic needs. If you feed these kids “for free” for 18 years, what do you think will happen when you stop feeding them if they graduate?

They will have no idea how to feed themselves, cook, or get good nutrition. Or do you have some different data from lifelong welfare recipients that shows that they are healthier and make better decisions than those that were not fed by government?

You have what is referred to as suicidal empathy. The left depends on your naivety.

They will just increase taxes to pay for that program

Thank you for making my point for me.

For a group of people who swear they’re on the right side of 80/20 issues not feeding innocent poor kids required to be in school is one HELL of a blind spot.

Cradle to grave government. I’m sure there is no slippery slope in the future, right? It’s not like I’m asking a hypothetical question. Look at the food stamp program. Does it breed independence and success? Or does it breed reliance on government?

You wrote all that and didn’t even come close to a decent point.

What do you want a 2nd grader to do? How does a poor kid with no money eat? Get a job?

Why are you so heartless that you’ll let 18 and 19 year olds starve? What about the poor twenty something’s? What is the age limit your empathy stops at, and why?

Exactly what the Left has always aimed for. Create a dependent class of voters who will always keep you in power.

No no, the national park service has signs about wild animals so we can’t feed innocent kids.

You’re just stupid because you don’t get it.

Let’s start w innocent kids and go from there, shall we?

Convincing yourself that some slippery slope fallacy is a just reason to not feed innocent kids is the epitome of meme politics.

lol. You are the only one that thinks the slippery slope argument is a fallacy. The failure of the welfare program is the only proof you need.

I’d like bleeding heart wade to tell us why their parents can’t feed them.

Your counter argument came directly from a meme about wild animals, one that you’re probably proud of.

It also seems like you don’t know the difference between an 8 & 18 year old. Tough look.

Keep dancing Wade. We know why you won’t answer the question. You can dance around the trap all you want but mentally you’ve already stepped in it. We can tell by this response

You’re the exact person that votes for a Mahmdani socialist to cure all the ills of decades of Democrat policies. If you just went more left, I’m sure it will solve all the problems you create.

Because they can’t afford it. Do you think poor people don’t exist? But whatever, I’ll bite. let’s say they do have money but they’re drug addicts, abusive, mental health cases, whatever.

How is any of that the kids fault? Do you think they don’t deserve to eat lunch at school based on that?

Who can’t afford it? How many parents and their subsequent children can’t afford food? Aren’t these people already on food stamps? Is this not another government feeding program? Why will this one finally work when welfare and food stamps has apparently failed, as you have admitted?

How many are the case here? Anymore one off scenarios do you want to add to try and build your case?

If this is your argument, then you must support ending the food stamp program then right? Because if so, then I agree. The food stamp program is such a failure that children are starving. And those a-hole parents aren’t feeding their kids, so shouldn’t we stop the failed program and give it to the kids instead? Will you fight for that? End food stamps/welfare in exchange for feeding the kids?

I guess Shelters, sure? Other type “get on your feet” programs on some local level, yeah? We actually probably agree on this part, this isn’t the argument you think it is.

But again, you not knowing the difference between an 8 yr old and an 18 yr old is really holding you back.
