Remember, the ENTIRE difference between the big red wave in 1994 and Congress elected in 2024 = the difference between the number of seats CA would have if they had a split that reflects the vote split in House races last year's. what they have.

A 12-seat shift = 24 = -12 blue + 12 red

Yep. GA is about 50 % white, 30 % black, 10 % Hispanic and 5 % Asian. Plenty of wiggle room in there for it to be purple, at the very least. In fact, it's a pretty good mix. Still restricted by being either pub or dem, at the moment, but at least it's not completely one or the other.
