The photo, posted on Discovery star Sonequa Martin-Green’s Instagram account, was an apparent show of unity with NFL players protesting the national anthem.
These guys stood for the flag and Spock was a Vulcan.

Star Trek has been SJW since before being SJW was cool. If you aren't going to watch a show because you don't like politics being interjected into your entertainment then you should never consider Star Trek. Social Justice has been the premise of Star Trek since it's inception.

New Trek sucks anyway, it's edgy and grimdark and borrows the worst parts of the reboot (dutch angles, lens flare)
