I think he shot a gun in the air and then he shot it again during the scuffle and thats when two agents peppered him
I’m not sold, but the timing of things certainly had me ponder if that’s what happened.
But again, I’m not sold.

I don’t think violently interjecting yourself into ongoing police matters in an already tense, near rolling boil situation, is a good idea. These situations look to be escalated by the ones who made these poor decisions.

There’s about 30% of the country that has lost its mind, but the other 70% of us - what do you think the majority of them think ICE should be doing?
Y'all need to revisit the framing of this digression

If the border patrol agent freaked out and shot the guy in the back, you'll definitely hear about it from the agents because he put his fellow agents in danger.
It presupposes an illegal/unjust killing.

From a different angle, it looks like they disarmed him, then decided to pump almost a dozen bullets into him. Then you got one ICE agent clapping like they won a game.
The optics don't look good.

Can you come up with a single good reason he was so heavily armed stalking the officers?

But we have a heavily armed aggressive person stalking LEO while armed and carrying enough ammo for a massacre.
You keep mentioning how armed he is as if that’s legally relevant.

They should be doing what they were doing when Obama was president: deporting violent illegals
Is federal law that only violent illegals get deported?

Im not sure I see what this X poster is saying he sees during the scuffle but doesnt it seem like the guy shot his gun at the beginning of this clip? The camera pans away right as the shot is fired but since we know the dead guy was carrying id assume it was him and what made ICE rush him

Did this guy violently interject himself?
He’s having a physical interaction with a cop. You can say it was a non-violent interjection. But it’s kinda like bumping a ref in a game.

Ok, but what caused all of the agents to jump back at the same time? Was it because they saw the gun and didn't realize it was an agent who had it?

Another option would be for you to answer the question posed.
What should ICE do to deport 20 million illegals over the objections of loony tune Leftists that have been told it’s okay to obstruct their work?
Posted on 1/24/26 at 3:36 pm to SirWinston
At about the 1 min mark the protesters firearm discharges. Then a quick 4 or 5 shots from agents

The idea that it’s ok for someone to think “yeah I’ll take my pistol out with me today” but not ok for them to be like “I’ve got 40 pockets on me I’ll bring a couple extra mags” is bananas.
That’s not to even touch on the even worse takes that poster has.

Do you think it was the protester who fired that first shot at the very beginning of the clip?

It was.

I don’t see how you can tell that.

It's not really applicable to the discussion being had
But moderates, based on polling, don't seem to be fans of these tactics. They may have supported deportations in the abstract, but the way the admin has chosen to make the sausage seems unpalatable. This Minnesota nonsense is just a doubling/tripling down

Are you saying that the first pop was the dead guy's gun, followed by the cops unloading?

The first shot was a different calibre than all the following shots.

Don't pull guns on cops.
