Guy is a left wing political hack. People in Nashville like him because he had a big hand in wooing the Oilers to TN, as mayor, but policy wise as governor of TN he was a typical liberal and had only gotten moreso since.
Yeah, you don’t know what the Hell you’re talking about. Bredesen is about as centrist of a politician as we’ve gotten in Tennessee. There are a lot of Tennessee Republican Party members who are voting for him over Blackburn because of how fair he was working with both sides on legislation.

He will vote on whatever Schumer tells him to do. Fact.

I’m in Missouri. We must have Hawley.

He’s a proud moderate that’s almost certainly not going to run for re-election. He’ll do whatever he thinks is right.

The Cook Report moved EIGHT Repub-held House seats toward the Dems just today. They have 25 seats flipping from Repub to Dem already with 23 others held by Repubs as tossups.
The Kavanaugh debacle is really helping Dems running for the House in swing districts all over the country. I originally predicted that the Dems would gain 30 House seats in November. Looks like it will be more like 40 seats.

You're funny. There is NO reason for a "Blue Wave". But your people have just pissed off a hell of a lot of people by acting like the uncultured baboons that they are.
We heard all this before back in 2016. You are going to LOSE Senate seats and Nancy ain't getting the gavel. What will you do then hit the streets so Trump can call out the Guard to deal with you?

1) We got a poll today showing for first time in entire cycle, dems and GOP are tied when it comes to enthusiasm. This same poll had it a 10 point enthusiasm gap in early sept.
2) 2 separate polls released today show dems lead on congressional ballot CUT IN HALF.

If Kavanaugh is confirmed you KNOW what they are going to do...riot. That will end them because it is going to either piss off or scare the hell out of the swing voters and doom their chances.

Just about every poll nationwide shows that support for Kavanaugh has declined in the last week. And that shift is coming among moderate suburban voters whose Republican held Congressional districts are in peril.
I am not talking about Senate polls in ND or FL. I am talking about nationwide totals and their reflection in swing Congressional districts.

Your 3 links are to MSNBC, NPR and a poll that was begun a week ago and ended 3 days ago.
Zero credibility. Try again.

It is simultaneously possible for opposition to Kav to rise, while still causing a surge in GOP enthusiasm.

I was talking about House polls not Senate polls. House polling in the last 2 weeks is trending Democratic all over the country, in specific House seats in places like California, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan, and New York. Trending Dem even in specific seats in NCarolina, Florida, and Texas.

Do you feel like this is a big win for the dems?
When was the last time the majority party that also held the presidency kept both the house AND Senate majorities in tact?

I guess Arizonans have finally had enough of Republicans acting like fricking Democrats in their state.
Hope that polling is off though. Everything I’ve heard about McSally is that she is solid

Two polls came out today showing dem lead cut in half on generic ballot
A npr poll came out today showing the enthusiasm gap dwindling to nothing
You can ignore these if you want, I think they are importantly

No, I do NOT feel like the last week has been a "win" for Democrats. Nor do I feel it has been a loss.
I have seen the same polls others here (Repubs) are taking heart in. But those gains by Repubs are not translating into individual House seat polling.
Dems are going to take the House unless something drastic happens between now and November 6.

The generic ballot polling has been all over the place. 8 weeks ago, many were showing a 10-13% Dem lead. Then, about 4-5 weeks ago, those double digit leads dwindled quickly to 3-4% leads or even less. One reliable poll had it even. Then the Dem numbers slowly grew and it was back to 6-10% Dem leads. When I see 3-4 generic polls retreat back to a 2% Dem lead, I will believe it.
Note: Dem leads in Wednesday's polls were 5-5-6-12.

And that's exactly what history says will happen.
Republicans retaining both house and Senate with a Republican president would be a huge outlier.
I think someone on fox said it has only happened like 3 times in 185 years. Maybe I heard wrong.
It'll be R in Senate, D in house. Nothing crazy, just what always happens.

I'd say woe is me re: AZ, but Kyl and a socialist is better than the two shitbags we have inflicted on you all until now.
McSally has to step up.
McSally has to step up.

McSally's campaign had been horrible, unless she improves as a candidate Sinema will win. Hopefully Doug Ducey runs for McCain's seat after he beats the communist the democrats are running for Governor.
