Letlow’s going to win, then she’s going to trounce whomever the sacrificial lamb is that wins the Democrat primary.

I would assume that would be Jamie Davis. He had 47.4% of the vote in the primary. It will be interesting to see if LA Democrats play up the Conservative/Moderate Democrat angle of a blue collar, small town candidate.

Yep, ole misogynistic Louisiana will have a female Senator. I’m sure the liberal lunatics will give us credit for that.

Willie Mount was a great mayor for Lake Charles and afterwards had a stellar voting record as a fiscal hawk in the state legislature to the right of most Republicans as a Female Democrat.

They always have. In the old days less government meant less taxpayer grift.

The major grift came from where it should, the whore houses and dixie mafia.

Can you explain in your best conservative voice any benefits of CCS. Surely there are many since the LA Legislature has approved imminent domain for it.

Please leave out federal tax credits

Companies pay to have it sequestered. These same companies have markets made available to them overseas for having it sequestered otherwise not available.

How TF do you think I-10 had land acquired. The landowners were paid the going rate as well. The far left envirowhackos don't like it because oil and gas pipelines they will be unable to block.

Actual landowners love that extra income. A friend has land affected by the first approved CCS site in the USA. He has been a lifelong conservationist and it impacts the 10,000 acres of marsh he bought from Amoco to restore and bring the level of hunting it once enjoyed. He knows duck hunting as good or better than Duck Dynasty and marshland management.

I can assure you I'm far from far left.

And if there are tens of thousands of mostly unused marshland for this why in the hell decide to put it under Lake Maurepas?

How bout we grow a set and act like the Country that runs the world economy instead of paying a “green” ransom?

Are we equating the importance of an interstate to a useless green scam?

Eminent domain laws were for all pipelines not just this. The retards just want to feel singled out. No one is putting a CCS site in your backyard. If fact most of this involves large landowners, like J A Bel et al Quatre Parish when it sold 72,000 acres of timber at the corner of Allen, Beauregard, Calcasieu and Jeff Davis parishes in the late 90s

Geology and it would be a state lease, no different than oil wells drilled in Lake Pontchartrain

We haven't dictated who buys US goods overseas since we stopped paying for grain to the world when he owned 80% of all grain exported in the world. Basically subsidizing the world's food. This is a major reason that farmers started going bankrupt in the 1980s and many becoming solar farms instead of growing crops.
