I already knew you are a waste of time and space, you didn’t need to tell me again.

That was the 6am press conference. Around 3 hours after the event.

So what?

The FBI’s official talking point at the time was something along these lines: “At this point in the investigation, we are unable to comment on whether it was a coordinated terror attack...”

Yet her opening comment was to emphatically state “This was not a terrorist event…”

She had ONE job and that stupid bish failed miserably at it.

It is troubling because the FBI placed an obvious obvious moron who is unable to think on her feet as the face for the entire agency in it’s leadoff press conference on the matter.

Why should the American people have any confidence the FBI is capable to conduct a competent investigation into this crime?

Again, the primary “narrative” being pushed in this thread is that such obvious incompetence from the nation’s lead law enforcement agency is a matter if no consequence.

There’s a video of some newscaster years ago whining about a terror suspect being a Muslim and not white because “racists will use it as an excuse to attack Muslims”.

And this is why the DEI FBI spokesperson— well after it was known to be a terrorist attacked by anyone with eyes, ears and any ability to think—was still trying to say it was not confirmed to be a terrorist attack. They don’t want to lend legitimacy to “racists,” who quickly knew it was an Islamic extremist terror attack. Can’t upset the sensitive muzzies who would cry it’s racist to “jump to conclusions,” even though those assumptions and conclusions were correct. Had it been a Trump supporter, they would have been calling it a right wing white nationalist terrorist attack right away, with the name of the name of the perp immediately released, with descriptors like “Trump supporter” and “MAGA” thrown out there. frick anyone who even tries to argue that wouldn’t be the case. And you know what? If all that was true, they SHOULD tell the truth right away and not sugarcoat it or lie. But when it’s a brown person, or trans person, etc. they keep it under wraps i.e. the Nashville Christian school shooter’s Trannyfesto being kept from the public for well over a year. Don’t want “marginalized” groups “unfairly” criticized or facing meanie insults.

January 20th cannot get here soon enough.

Fair enough. And certainly I think there is some significance that the nation’s supposed premier LEA has employed an utter moron as it’s spokesperson.

Not just "spokesperson", that is the ASAC for the New Orleans FBI field office.

The FBI is broken. Some random idiot at a meaningless press conference isn't why.

Some idiot misspeaking at a press conference certainly doesn't change that opinion.

That idiot is the NO FBI ASAC. I'm sure she was on the fast track to be in DC as a Dep Asst Director within the next five years before Trump won.

Shouldn’t you be able to properly decline verbs and get subject/verb agreement before you are the public spokesperson for the government?

As sad as it is, that was the New Orleans ASAC. I would've never thought that place could be worse than it was 10-15 years ago, it is. Nobody with any talent will stay there for more than three yrs now.

I thought fbi agents were supposed to look professional, then they come out with a woman who has dreadlocks, two studs in her nose, and 6 earrings in the clusterfrick of a presser this morning

In today's FBI it seems like you can decide what it means to "look professional" if you happen to be the ASAC.

Naw, they just understand how dumb this argument is, especially in retrospect from all we know today
I must be missing something.

That was clearly the plan, but someone fricked everything up before the FBI lady spoke Teedy did not do the planned "we're not sure yet" commentary.

The woman from the FBI could have easily said they weren’t sure if it’s a terrorist attack instead of giving an emphatic statement that it was NOT a terror attack.

Whatever her title, if she is assigned any task beyond changing the copy machine color cartridge or emptying the break room trashcan, she appears grossly overwhelmed and flagrantly under-qualified.

In any event — and as I indicated above — such obvious rank incompetence is but the face of a much larger and systemic corruption that long has permeated the entire agency.
