To be fair, and I’m not defending the behavior, but there is pressure within the black community, especially within the DNC and other race hustlers, to not speak against other blacks lest you be labeled a “sell out” or “Uncle Tom”. If that were a component of white culture you might behave differently.

There were no blacks on the jury because a few of the ones in the pool outright stated that they would have a hard time putting one of their own behind bars.
This is typically uncovered in high profile cases (see OJ's trial/case) and likely happens much more often than we know.
