Black politicians view this as a form of reparations. I don't understand why a white person would still live in Chicago right now.
It is such a wonderful hip place.

Chicago is on Detroit's path from 50 years ago when they elected Coleman Young..

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD LUCK BOZO.
Chicago has a lot of big comapnies downtown, and almost as many in the suburbs. From 1967-2000, they just kept moving out. Some moved back downtown in the last 20 years.
Guess that trend is over. It's a very clear situation. You make it hard to earn downtown??? They go to the burbs. Then downtown tanks. We. Saw. This. Happen. Already.
But keep blowing smoke up the electorate's arse, it will work out great for them.

I cant believe "they" got rid of Beetlejuice - only to replace it with an even bigger loser

It was a struggle between different sets of unions to see who would prevail.
The teacher union prevailed as opposed to the cops and most other unions in the city.
Those unions winning may have been as bad as Beetlejuice, but this shite will be worse.

I feel like we spend a lot of time and resources trying to prevent them from killing themselves. Screw it. I propose a Hunger Games solution. Every “District” gets to implement whatever they want. Citizens vote with their feet. Every 4 years, the District with the largest loss of population gets taken over ver by the district with the largest gain in population and both are safe for the next 2 cycles.
ETA And I want the live video feeds all over every district.

With no rules for weapons'. Full auto's, RPG's, grenades, land mines, F15's etc, etc. This will be a cage match to the death.

Well, if they don't have abortion bodegas on every other street corner they have the effective equivalent.
When you have that, what else matters?

Just how does he plan to tax people that don't even live in Chicago?
Their paychecks from their Chicago employer.
Hear that sound?
That’s businesses leaving rubber on the pavement as they rocket out of the city.

"I'm sure raising taxes on middle and upper middle class suburbs will have great results both short and long term"
He has zero authority to raise taxes on the suburbs of Chicago.
They just don't understand basic economics.

Aren’t all the trading floors automated now?
If so, no reason to keep the commodities brokers in Illinois, let alone Chicago.

To pay for all the shite used by people in the city… and the gigantic fricking pensions for every city employee which spike in the final year of their work when they do 200 hours of OT.
