I'm surprised Steyer with his endless ads isn't getting more traction in that state.

For the life of me, I don’t see why they poll Cali so much on the primary. 80% of the names on that list will be out of the race by Nevada or South Carolina, let alone California.

Obama brought Biden in for the Blue Collar Rust Belt voters, who bought in to Biden's 'working man' schtick/con. You can tell a tree by the fruit that it bears...think Hunter 'working man' Biden; and what Joes is capable of.
"He that is faithful in little, is faithful in much". Biden SUCKS...once truth be known. He outed himself.

California will go for the left most candidate in the primary, no surprise Sanders and Warren are leading the pack.
But when the time comes, they'll vote in lockstep for whoever has a D next to their name. Polling them is a futile effort.

Biden is going to need the DNC to rig the primary again if he wants to get the nomination

that's second nature though, so no problem.

Booker's still in this thing? Who knew? Do you think he knows?

Biden is in it for the long haul. just needs to get to 15% threshold to receive delegates. they are trying to play the JEB strategy to the nomination.
and if he fails, then any delegate he gets will prevent others from winning on the first ballot, which will allow the possibility of the super delegates taking over

The other 11% for Trump?

Voters can smell someone just trying to buy an election a mile away. Trump got his hands dirty campaigning. Steyer and Bloomberg aren't going to do that.

Were almost certainly headed for a brokered Dem convention.
I'd love to know their nomination rules - I know that their super delegates dont vote in the first round at their Milwaukee convention.
When (if ever) can the Dem delegates start to vote for a nominee who has 0 delegates from the primaries?

Want to watch the Dem party burn to the ground? Watch a brokered convention happen and someone who didn’t even run gets the nomination.
The Dems are broken down into so many different groups all struggling to be in control over all the money that you know a lot of them will leave the convention pissed off.

It’s why he hates Trump so much.
Donald Trump is a billionaire everybody knows.
Tom Steyer? Who?

Biden won’t win a State on the left coast. He also won’t do well in the NE.
He’ll still be the nominee though because he will sweep the south, the plains, and most of the Midwest.

Is this allowed in their bylaws?
My nightmare scenario is Michelle emerging as a last minute hail Mary candidate for them. I'm hoping that their bylaws mandate you must have at least 1 delegate to be put forward.
By that time Trump should be beating all of them in head to head matchups. They might look to Michelle or Oprah (giving the VP a Godfather offer like Trump supposedly gave to Kasich) to actually steer the Presidency.
If they put forward Michelle Obama and made Sanders or Warren the VP but with Kasich like powers that would be a disaster for us.

I’m not digging deep enough into their rules in order to find that out.
If their convention is like the GOP convention, though, the prior cycle’s candidate has control over the rules for the convention. Which gives Hillary a big leg up on doing whatever she wants to do.

I've tried looking and cant find it.
All I know is the super delegates aren't as many and they dont vote until 2nd ballot and that its unlikely there will be anyone close to the needed delegates.
I'm not scared of a Hillary candidacy. Barack and Michele Obama and Oprah are the only 3 people in America who I think could beat Trump. Barack cant run, Oprah wouldn't run, and that leaves Michelle.
