Amidst all the bullshite going on in our country today, we can’t forget to remember those who lost their lives 19 years ago today. May God rest their souls and give us strength to continue to stand against all enemies both foreign and domestic.

Definitely can’t let this get lost in the shuffle. I’m gonna give my kids a lesson on this today with pictures and videos.

You're damn straight. I was an E-5 Promotable stationed at Ft. Hood however I was at a 3 month BNCOC (now ALC) at Ft. Knox, KY.

That event changed our country and it definitely changed the direction of the next 15 plus years of my time as a tanker in the Army.

He has already done that. No need to ask Him for that. What we need to be asking Him for is to save the souls of the lost ones who are still with us. Those are the ones tearing this country apart.

Never forget those who took great pleasure with what happened that day are here now with us.

Never forget those who took great pleasure with what happened are here to destroy America

Never forget those who took great pleasure with what happened are actively looking forward to destroying America and have joined one political party to accomplish this goal.

It is crazy to think how unified the country was then and we have people now that won’t even stand respectfully for the flag and national anthem.

I was working in Beaumont, TX in a Federal Prison when the first plane hit. I was able to get to a TV to see on the screen the second plane hit. My first comment was "where is the FBI? Where is the CIA? Why didn't we know this was coming?"

Of course we realize years later that the Clinton administration had gutted those agencies leaving us vulnerable.

Never forget Al Queda — vis-à-vis the Mujahideen — was partially a creation of our nation’s corrupt national security apparatus.

If Biden was president instead of Bush there would have never been a 9/11. Biden would have used science to stop it!

And a then unknown John Brennan was station chief in Saudi Arabia.

This is just my opinion. He knew and was part of the planning process.

Nobody cares until black lives matter. I won't empathize until then.

Amazing that the event went from patriotism to politics in that short of a time span wasn't it?

It lasted longer than that. Today though the Democratic Party would cheer on a 9/11 event instead of coming together .

Hundreds of billions spent every year on national security and intelligence programs, and yet a dozen or so 3rd worlders pull this off? I don't buy it. They let it happen.

Pre 9/11 security was nothing like it is today. 9/11 changed the game forever.

Not sure why but here we are 19 years later and this one's hitting a little harder than the previous years. I guess having a kid on the way changes things. When they show a firefighter's picture with his young kids on TV it's like a punch in the chest.
