Huh? I'm specifically arguing this is not a conspiracy and is a nothingburger story in the big picture, to counter those trying to do so.

Yes, but his lack of endorsement of Trump is not an indication of some conspiracy between himself and Democrats. As in, his lack of endorsement is probably more related to his firing than anything else.
