So to be clear you want to send in ground troops to achieve regime change in Iran?
Do you have a casualty level in mind as far as what’s acceptable to change which group of Shias run Iran?
Iraq was 30k and $3T and they still don’t do anything for us after 10 years of Americans bleeding in the sand so that Saddam can’t do mean things.
You good with that? Pentagon says it could be as many as 100k apparently.

Again you never served in the military so you really shouldn't even be speaking on our abilities. I assure you if we decided to annihilate Iran it would take less than 72 hours to do so. Our country has empathy towards civilians therefore we always hold back.

I've lived through the war on terror already, where we failed both in Iraq and Afghanistan. Iran will be more difficult.
It took 20 years to lose the war for regime change in Afghanistan.

Never said that. If you took sfp post in context he was comparing the land terrain to Afghanistan and saying the Navy would be support. I was just stating the Navy would still be in the front had we needed to fight on land.

Like I said you have never served our country in the military so again you need to stop speaking about its abilities. There many more weapons than the need to Nuke them but again you wouldn't know that.

Military service should be mandatory, I got a feeling all you warHawks would be on a different team today if yall had some skin in the game
I did 2 to Afghanistan and 2 to Iraq.

I did multiple years in the Navy. Should they be willing to take this 60yr old man back I would happily go.
