They are not very far apart.

PedophIlia and homosexuality are not that far apart as a beer with a turd in it is to a beer.
They are monstrously far apart.
They are monstrously far apart.

Do you like prepubescent girls?
THAT is how "very far apart" they are.

Both are behaviours that occur naturally very rarely.
Posted on 12/15/14 at 8:53 pm to 1234567VFL
Hence, they are to be rejected in normal society.

Behaviors that occur in nature very rarely is not a logical category.
By that weak logic, because no one else is shagging my wife makes me an anomaly.

Im unaware of pedophilia occurring in nature.

Nature should be a big part of our behavioural model, since we are, you know, part of it.

It does happen, but it is very rare, and thus, not normal.

There are enough crazies who deny evolution that those who accept the science are a blessing.
So let me get this straight...you are in the camp who thinks that someone who lives their life in accordance with a book "written 3,000 years ago" are outdated and behind times yet simultaneously you are willing to call someone else crazy who doesn't subscribe to your version of events you believe happened millions of years ago? Hmm...

Look up the definition of pedophilia and then tell me where it occurs in nature outside of man. Actually, tell me how it could possibly happen in another species given the disparity in consciousness, intelligence, and emotional development between human beings and other species.
As for homosexuality, that isn't really rare in nature.

Evidence. It's kind of important and it's kind of on his side.

Had you ever had an aquarium, or rats in a confined space?

Behaviors that occur in nature very rarely is not a logical category.
E.g., HYPOTHETICALLY, the same gene that produces extremely attractive women, when occurring in male genotypes, contributes with other factors to produce 20% gay men.

Source?
And same sex intercourse is fairly common in nature. Giraffes actually have more gay sex than straight sex.

So this evidence is indisputable or perhaps is it just argued with more fervency by the side who wishes to consider it indisputable to push an agenda and/or a belief system?

It isnt my version of events, it is the most extensively studied and empirically supported topic in all of biology. I subscribe to evolution in the same way I subscribe to continental drift and gravity, its just the way things are. To compare it to a text written by bronze age nomads isnt even a debate worth having.
