The only thing this will do is make good cops quit and then when they can’t hire anymore good ones they’ll lower their standards and start hiring more crack heads off the street

What's going to happen with passage of this bill is that LEO's will have to have their own liability insurance. It's easy to imagine that those insurance premiums will be sky high & most will not be able to afford buying that coverage. They will have to resign, no choice, as police departments will not allow any non covered LEO to walk a beat.
