I think Natural News was pretty much for whackos.
BUT, Americans really should be appalled at the zeal with which we've abandoned holding free speech as a VALUE. Beyond just keeping govt from arresting us over speech, but actually as a VALUE.
I don't want people I disagree with shut down. I want them overcome. I value their freedom to say shite I think is stupid MORE than I desire to defeat them because to me, freedom is a paramount value and one should tread VERY lightly on infringing upon it just because it feels good in the moment.
