I disagree. Breaking up the US is exactly what the globalist scum want. Much easier to deal with us that way. We need to shrink the Fedgov and reduce its power while holding together as powerful republic. It can be done.

People keep saying "Natioinal Divorce" like that is possible.
It would quickly devolve into a full blown hot civil war.

The one variable that would make me have hope this wouldn't happen is that it would quickly lead to revolt within the seceding states, once their US-federal aid dried up. Welfare benefits like SNAP, Social Security, Section 8, Medicare, Medicaid, etc. are still popular for huge portions of the populations in these states. I imagine they would not go quietly into the night, which would thwart a larger civil war.

If I'm OG US, I prevent that and keep them in A2 for this very strategical purpose.
Not only will it cause major uneasiness, but it will affect the perceived legitimacy or ability to govern of A2 and have it all become a huge failure.
The feds don't win these battles with force. They use money, which is more effective.
