because the conferences will only be featuring women speakers, people of color, and LGTBQ speakers going forward.

Just say you're a woman. You don't even have to change anything.

I don’t like even attending those kinds of conferences.

The incident a few years back where a few programmers got publicly shamed and fired because a feminist got offended at something they said reinforces that stance IMHO.

I believe they said something about “forking her input” about someone who wasn’t the offended. The offended person snapped a picture of them. Next thing they know, they are escorted out of the conference and fired with it making national news.

Long story short - people who feel aggrieved make everything a miserable experience just by their presence.

That's actually a good response. White men just don't show up. Let them speak to an almost empty room.

My field requires every conference to contain speakers on equity and a percentage of my continuing education hours must be on equity.

Good Times.

Non-merit based directions are a path to failure.

This is the ONLY thing they can do.

Just don't attend but please publisize the companies' names so we can turn them into BudLights, Targets,etc..

Now they are being discriminated against and have no real recourse other than to boycott the event.

If they have big followings in their respective industries, they should go public with what they were told. Put these conferences on blast nationally.

Seems like an opportunity for a break away conference.

Yep. No proof required.
Just say thats how you feel. That is how Groomers(D) define womanhood anyway.

Tell them to call out the national conferences, sue them for discrimination if possible, take money to create their own, and call out companies that won't sign up for their new version because they are white.

Time we create white based orgs, businesses, etc. Just like every other group has. Been done before, handed over to the worse of us by the white guilt cuck types, so let's git'er done. Eventually whites will be a minority so why the heck not.

That is absurd.

So putting non-white speakers at conferences attended only by ppl in the industry, is going to attract more of anyone to said industry?

Thats big brain right there
