Fair enough.
Is she being shown respect for her position in this thread and on this board?
She is the Speaker of the House, third in line for the presidency if, god forbid, something happened to the president.

What's sad is they don't even realize they are costing themselves the next election

The reddit crew on /politics have an article claiming Pelosi tearing up the SOTU speech was stealing the show from Trump.
These people are so delusional they can't even see that what she did made Trump's speech that much more effective. That or they are in denial.

Not only was Pelosi's action petty, disrespectful, and childish, it was also illegal.
She more than likely will not be charged, but it would be fun to watch that trial.

(b) Whoever, having the custody of any such record, proceeding, map, book, document, paper, or other thing, willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, falsifies, or destroys the same, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both; and shall forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States. As used in this subsection, the term "office" does not include the office held by any person as a retired officer of the Armed Forces of the United States.

None of this board are members of Congress or the President.

I love Trump, but you have to accept that if he is going to be a dick to people, things like this will happen in response.

Why are we pretending this hasn’t been every SOTU speech?

I wouldn't be surprised if a member or two of the Louisiana delegation have tipped their toes into this forum at one point or another.

It’s the same style of governance as Barack Obama. It’s very effective in today’s cultural landscape.

Senator Kennedy is that you?

My view is that she shouldn’t have stooped to Trump’s level.
Just put it in the shredder in your office.

we dont know that to be true, as much as I would hope it is true.
I take your answer as a "no."

One of these people says mean things on twitter.
The other has called the President illegitimate and proceeded with Impeachment that ignored Constitutional and House Rules, then sat on the Articles of Impeachment for 30 days after bloviating how it was vitally important to this nation that the Impeachment be concluded as fast as possible.
But she's stooping to "Trump's Level"
Ok.

And you would be wrong.
If I got the chance to meet her, I would most certainly do so. I'm sure many others here would as well. She's the Speaker of the House.

I don’t think I would go out of my way to meet Pelosi.
