She’s probably thinking “how dare this subject question me!?”
Hopefully, this starts to represent the rule, and not the exception, when our “public servants” decide to go out slumming amongst the regular people.
These grifters on both sides of the aisle should be held accountable every single day by the people.
If they have nothing to hide they won’t mind being questioned.

Yep. Down deep, it's about who she is. Good or bad, in her own subjective reality; which can become the worst sort of 'prison'.
Redfield ("Celestine Prophecy") posits that interaction between people is essentially a matter of an exchange of energy. In that when people interact they come away with either a gain or loss of energy. The attention that Nancy gets in believing that her action is altruistic ("for the children") puts her in the positive gain position, along with those who support and serve her (supposed) altruistic, public narrative. IF, at any point, the (subjectively perceived) 'Narrative' CHANGES, then so does her positive energy acquisition. The exchange becomes a negative for her, and her Group. That is a ticket to a personal hell.
If a person believes/KNOWS that they are honest and good, they live in good conscience, and can offer a positive energy exchange that is mutually beneficial to all. And they don't need the blessing of a 'Pope' to affirm goodness; the Holy Spirit of Truth does that.
Nancy's problem is that she knows that she has lied in big ways that affect millions. She has corrupted what ideally should be a forthright debate and political process, and sold her soul to the 'Lie' in order to 'win' and manipulate the lives of many honest folk. She's in deep, and the 'Father of the Lie', eats his own.
I hope I never reach this point in my own spiritual sojourn, and that just seeing others like Nancy and her (misguided?) Cabal go to hell will be enough to put the fear of highly deceptive Evil in me and keep me on the straight and narrow of Truth.
Bottom line: She/They will have to fight to the last breath to maintain the 'Narrative' as an 'Angel of Light'. So will their Master. "Wailing and gnashing of teeth" in the mail.
Lord have mercy on them who worship real love.

I was critical when Trump staffers were harassed at that restaurant in Georgetown, and I am equally critical of this behavior.
Even elected officials are entitled to a private life, but there are ill-mannered boors on both sides of the political aisle.

I'm not digging through my entire post history, but I distinctly remember getting pissed off when Rand Paul and his wife were attacked after an event, and whenever the Republicans were protested at while trying to eat a couple of years ago. I also don't understand on any planet people thinking I'm some sort of leftist, it boggles the mind if you remotely have paid attention to most of my political posts. If you think abolishing the IRS, ATF, Homeland Security, all while wanting to legalize all firearms and devices used by the reserves is leftist, you got me.
