Pretty simple actually. My wife isn't super liberal or anything but she was leaning Hillary in 2016, ended up going for Gary Johnson, as did I. She still leans liberal on some stuff and hates "how Trump is".

Sounds a lot like my wife other than the Hillary part. I voted Trump in 2016 and will do so again soon. Still can't get her to jump on the Trump train.
