At lunch news was talking about how Biden said "America is an "Idea" that was "never lived up to".
Her first response was "So what does he(Biden) think he can do in 4 years to turn this country around that he didn't do in 47 years as a politician in DC?

Alternatively my wife gets her news from Instagram and FB. She voted Trump/Crenshaw/Cornyn, but D down ballot the rest of the way out of guilt voting for Trump

I compared and contrasted our costs of living in Illinois vs Texas, Tennesse, or Florida. I think it hit home when I showed her that it would cost us up to $750,000 more in taxes over 35 years if we stay in this progressive state.
That's a lot of money that could go into retirement savings, college tuition for our kids, family vacations, etc.
