Last major tax reform was the GOPE tax cuts while Trump was in office.

Biden has done a lot of spending, but they haven't undone the GOPE tax cuts

That is actually not possible.

Do this. Print out 2021 and 2022 Form 1040, and compare them, line by line.

I promised you something changed. Either your income went up, your deductions went down, or your withholding / estimated payments / credits went down.
