I don't have a short stepson.

Well, first off that is still 300k illegals. That's a lot regardless of historical numbers.
Second, a lot of that was because of Obama's economy. Immigration flows to money, and the US didn't have enough jobs for everyone here already during the recession. Why would people run here?
