I feel sorry for anyone that thinks Trump gives a shite about abortion.

This isn't a good thing.
Abortion has made this country safer and that is not even debatable.
Do you want more poors, white trash and ghetto hoodrats around?

curious as to see if Trump's SCOTUS nominee will help overturn Roe v. Wade

As I stated before, the debate isn't if the fetus is alive or not.
It's whether or not to force the mother to carry it to term.
If your 6-month old is in a car accident, the state does not force you to donate your blood or anything else to save its life.
If you die, your organs are not used to save someone else's life unless you give them permission to do so.
We believe in autonomy of the self in the United States - that your body belongs to you. That the state cannot, and should not, force upon you the sacrifice of any part of your self without your consent (regardless if that is something that you can resupply, like blood, or cannot, like a lung). You could be dying right in front of me, I have everything needed to save your life in my veins, and nothing can force me to give it to you.
You can claim that the woman made a choice first, and if so, then you are in favor of abortion in cases of rape, etc.
Instead in this country we have those that feel a 13 year old who is raped by her stepfather should carry the child to term, because that is the "right thing to do" for the baby, because the little girl be damned.
I'm sorry, but "pro-life" is misnomer. It's "anti-self autonomy".

Indeed
It's body autonomy
I can remove a tumor, cancer, or am unborn fetus. All growing organisms

This is utter fricking stupidity. Walk away from your car accident and leave the baby in the car without trying to get it help and see if the district attorney doesn't have a chat with you.
Hell, forget the car wreck. Just don't feed the kid and then see if the state doesn't force you to make "sacrifices".
The issue is whether or not the baby inside the mother is part of her body or if it is the baby's body.

You are a piece of shite. I don't think you realize it though.
Watch a video on life in the womb. Watch an abortion procedure, then try to justify the murder of that life because there is a possibility that they will become white trash.
Ok, what if I could transport to an alternate reality where Roe vs Wade never happened and abortion has always been illegal? What if I showed you a reality where you're house is getting broken into regularly, you kids are getting shot at schools, and you risk getting stabbed everytime you go to an ATM.
That's an extra 60 million unwanted in the US if Roe v Wade. Are you going to take care of these kids? Are you going to give these people jobs? Are you going to pay for their prisons? What about their welfare? How about for every person it takes to keep these 60 million unwanted children in check?
And not forget that most of these unwanted kids will eventually pop out multiple kids themselves. So I'd say it's safe bet if you double that 60 million to 120 million after they would have kids of their own.
Sorry, but it's not as simple as us being pieces of shite for having a realistic view on this. You Bible Thumpers need to realize what a living hell this country would be without abortion.

Again, pure fricking stupidity to assume they would all become degenerates. Also pure fricking stupidity to assume that if abortion were not available that people would continue to get pregnant in the same careless manner.
Is your scenario what life in America was like before Roe v Wade?

How come the person who is for abortions always assumes that the child aborted will be a hood rat? What if he or she had grown up to cure cancer instead?

Don't be so dense. That's not the only result of a non-aborted baby. On top of that, there's an infinite line of people that try to adopt and have to wait years.

The poors, white trash and ghetto hoodrats aren't the people who are having abortions. They are the people who are having multiple babies with multiple daddies in order to collect welfare checks.
Well according to this, 1/3 of all abortions in the US are from black people. Then let's put in the White trash and Hispanics in this count, and I'd bet it at least is 2/3 of abortions: LINK
Stop talking shite.

They love the idea of personal responsibility for their actions being reduced to a ride to the clinic and half the abortionist's bill.

We definitely have some poster children for abortion in the thread.

Never understood people like you. I bet you're all for states rights and letting people choose their course in life. Except abortion of course. I would never allow my loved one to have an abortion but I believe that it should be left up to the woman to choose.

First off, some abortions are being federally funded. So this means his and your tax dollars are going to abortions. Second, you can embrace state rights and still be morally opposed to the states decisions.

This thread shows the great impact Roe v Wade had on our Nation. People openly, without remorse or caring, talking about why we should kill more babies, comparing them to cancer, talking about human life in terms of ROI. We are truly lost and may God have mercy on us all.
