I am here to answer questions about Dr. Ford's allegations.
I have no input whatsoever on the committee's process, if you have questions about that then work it out among yourselves.
As I said in my opening statement, this is a political circus. I know what you are up to, and that is delay as clearly evidenced by the timing of your leak.
If you wanted to investigate, you could have joined in with the majority.

He's had 10 straight days of every major media outlet slandering him and calling him a serial rapist for his wife and daughters to hear. He's shown incredible restraint to avoid dropping f bombs and throwing punches as far I'm concerned

You are right but it's terribly difficult to answer everything perfectly in a setting like this.
