Tetracycline was extensively used in my native land when I was a child, an old antibiotic with many benefits. So glad you're better and thank you for sharing your experiences!

Glad you're OK, but... coughing up blood? And ABX made symptoms better almost immediately?

When was the last time you were tested for TB?

Lol - old AF dad is what I am. One of my older daughters came home with a history assignment to "interview" someone who was alive in the 1960s. She was soooo happy she could just talk to the old man...

Thank you so much for sharing that. My son, 42, had similar symptoms for 2 days . On the 3rd day I gave him Ivermectin. He took 2 pills for 3 days….Covid gone. He wished he’d taken my advice and took the pills at first sign of symptoms but now we know.

yep.

people refuse to understand that far too many deaths, especially early on, were provided basically no treatment and just sent to death on a ventilator

we are talking about vitamins, and proven anti-virals around for decades, but no --- no treatment

WTF were we thinking

If you recovered with Doxycycline you probably had a secondary bacterial pneumonia superimposed over Covid. Or it was a coincidence. Doxycycline does have some antiviral properties, but haven’t seen it help out Covid patients over all unless they have bacterial pneumonia.

You should have been able to get MAb atleast they are available up here in outpatient infusion clinics.

Monoclonal is THE BEST WAY to beat Covid IMO, but it had to be EARLY soon as you’re symptomatic, otherwise your immune system just rages and that’s a hard train to stop, even with high-dose Dexamethasone.

Again if anyone knows anybody who is positive/symptomatic: make sure they get monoclonal antibodies no excuses. It saves lives.

Dude, your symptoms were a lot like mine on week 2/3 and while I’m a little older, we share the same health profile. I lost 18lbs of muscle and since I haven’t been able to return to the gym since mid October, I’m now pudgy, from being jacked.

Just had surgery to correct the issues caused by the coughing and when I am healed I can finally return to the gym. Smell and taste is fine, but I still have the fatigue and Covid brain. I dunno if that is because I haven’t been able to go to the gym, or because of the virus.

We know so fricking little about all of this, and the government is playing politics with it, so we have little hope of really understanding it all without tons of doubt seeded by the politics.

Edit: thanks so much for sharing.

There's no doubt in my mind that you developed secondary pneumonia because Doxy doesn't help with a virus, just with bacteria. Covid wasn't killing you bacterial Pneumonia was.

Immune system, it is important. Get out there, no mask.

Thanks for taking the time to post. Did you happen to check your blood oxygen levels?

It kicked my arse as well, but I recovered fully after about a month.

Glad you’re better.

Me exactly.

Covid felt like a easy case of the flu for me. Just kind of a pain in the arse. The worst part was leg pain, which was very similar to the flu.

I got tired of laying around with sore legs for a week and just drove to ER and asked for an IV. Sucked down a few bags of some concoction and 8 hours later I felt way better and that was a wrap. Im convinced I could've shaken it faster (or not caught it at all) if I had been better hydrated, but after a week of daily moonshine drinking, that was not possible.

...but the fDA, CDC, and US Drs, and ALL US hospitals say there are no clinical trials that prove this works.

How about we don't need full blown trials to know it something works. IF it works for 1000's of people, then we have enough proof to use it.
Will it work for all people? No. The vax does not work for ALL people.
