All kids should have a retail/service job before entering college/skill training. It is great motivation and really eye opening for some.

I learned a lot about the office environment when I worked in radio before college. Most important lesson: When you're a slacker your co-workers resent you because they have to pull some of your weight. When you do extra work not assigned it makes their jobs easier and they appreciate you.

Insert: Liberal minded kid graduates college. They’re going to stop climate change and change the world.

Graduates: Meets real life, gets married, has a family.

Insert: conservative principles and thinking

That's the old model.

New model is liberal minded kid graduates college with worthless degree and a ton of debt. Gets crap job either in their field which pays crap or working some hourly job somewhere. Then they start getting their payments due on their loans. So they learn that they can go BACK to school and get an additional worthless graduate degree (likely from an even less prestigious school) so they can defer the loans.

At this point they graduate and are in their mid 20's. They have 2 degrees but neither of which will help them get a job they can live the way they want to. So they rack up more debt and continue to avoid responsibility. They hear leftist talking points in the media and from other friends who made stupid life decisions blaming others for their bad choices. They get upset that they can't make $150k a year as a teacher or as a graphic designer or whatever. A few more years pass.

Now they are in their early 30's. They have never been married. No kids. Tons of debt. Never owned a house and have terrible credit that has them in a hole so deep it's almost impossible to get out of. They see that life is slipping away but don't know how to get out of it. They still dream of having a family and a nice life but it just seems unattainable. So they get very angry and continue to blame others and look for bailouts. Student loan forgiveness. Free healthcare. Rent controls. The option of having to face their decisions and work their way out of it is just too daunting and depressing.

So they fall deeper and deeper into despair, especially women. They see that their hopes of having a family are almost gone or already gone. Their life is just working at some job they don't really like and coming home to an empty apartment and getting drunk or high with their friends occassionally but the appeal of that has worn off as they get older. Their life has little meaning and they are desperately lonely and sad.

How many folks know people that fit a similar profile? I can think of a dozen Millenials off the top of my head that do and honestly I don't know how you can fix it. They have to decide to fix themselves and that is the skill they are most lacking because they never learned how.

But the ones who don't and I'm thinking AOC. It only takes one to poison the minds of many.

Is it so difficult to spot sarcasm these days? I mean damn, I thought it was blatant enough but I guess I have to spell it out.

Mine was headed hard left so I took the path of showing her how all politicians were dirt bags. She hates Dems and Republicans.

I made a little libertarian by accident.

~~If You Are Not a Liberal at 25, You Have No Heart. If You Are Not a Conservative at 35 You Have No Brain~~

Often attributed to Churchill, but the phrase is from the 1800's and true to this day.

Of course it was sarcasm. But that doesn't delude the fact that the media wants everyone to believe there is a huge race war going on. I helped a very old black lady put her groceries in her car last weekend. And she tried to pay me and called me baby . But that doesn't mean I run to twitter and facebook and announce it to the world. It was an normal occurrence that required no comment from me. Until this story I guess because it seemed to fit.

Go walk around Saint Claude, the lower 9th and 7th wards, Desire, and Michoud in New Orleans and comeback and describe your interactions.

Many kids put college instructors almost on role model status. It usually takes them a few years in the real world to figure out the truth. Liberalism is near mental illness.

Have you never interacted with regular black people before? It's literally an everyday occurrence.

I had 3 really nice black ladies approach me in the parking lot today, asking me "what type of smoothie did you get"

" banana boat with peanut butter"

I then said my son likes the same but with chocolate...

all 3 ladies: "Oh I am getting that one, thank you sugar"

I smiled and drove off...

Find the truth for her, simplify it so she can understand it better, and she can pass it on. If it is presented in a simple manner, it is easier for people to pass it on.
She should have many friends that she can pleasantly discuss some of this nonsense, like defend the police.
When the police has been defunded who will women call if they are raped?
Simply stated: Criminals want the police defunded so they can commit crimes without consequences. Who will people call when they are robbed, beaten, harassed, etc?
Very few police, doctors, teachers, fire fighters, engineers, accountants, nurses, paramedics are bad.
Do we get defund them because there are some bad ones mixed in with the good? Liberals make no sense.
Many politicians, reporters, and attorneys are bad. If you want to start defunding anything, start with politicians, then work your way to reporters, attorneys, and go from there.

Hopefully it will be a good base to prevent liberal programming while at college someday.
you have to head out of at the pass. You need to talk to your kids about these topics before they ever get there
