excellent post. the problem is that true trumpkins ONLY believe what he says. they ignore his lies and ignore his condemnation of the constitution. Fear of a brown person taking their jobs has nullufied their rationale brain for an emotional brain. the dems do the same thing. they let others do their thinking. Trump’s path is one of ego gratification. he envisions himself as a mussolini type character without the intellect.

This is one of the better NPC examples I've seen in a while. Nice job.

You can't be saying the National System of the 19th century was superior to the almost tariff free periods of the early twentieth century and the very low tariff periods since WWII??? Hoover's tariff were a big contributor to the depression and his tariffs reversed a 25 year period of very low tariffs and tremendous US growth.

You liked that the Southern states damn near revolted over the trade problems caused by the National System tariffs decades before the Civil War??

You liked the humongous public works spending of FDR?

Our economy has grown more in the last 30 years than it did the 250 years previous combined.

Dude thinks that Trump forcing people to come through the front door rather than climbing over the fence is a "condemnation of the constitution"

I really hate the lazy NPC crowd.

I know no one afraid of an unskilled Guatemalan taking their job. So lazy.

I believe you research the web for hours trying to find anything to hang your hat on, to back your agenda on why tariffs and Nationalsim are bad. It’s not healthy what you are doing, and you may need to seek help.

I had a thread on here about "What is Fascism?"

Short Answer: No one agrees/no one knows. It is a list of random national characteristics, not generally agreed upon.

so, why all of the fear mongering and lying? is that a false narrative? fear implores emotion rather than factual logic. trump is very good at creating emotional reactions because most of his base is stupid. dems totally push emotional responses too; but, the point is the USA would be better with an honorable old school Republican and we chose Trump?? How stupid was that?

Here is where I know you're an idiot who doesn't have any clue, and probably gets all his knowledge from the likes of Bill Kristol/David French/George Will/Erik Erickson

The Gilded Age ring any bells? The mass canal system? The westward expanison? Steamboat revolution? Train system? Industrial Revolution? Do any of these ring bells? None of which would have been possible without the national system. And the reason we saw such growth after WWII.....BECAUSE WE WERE THE ONLY ECONOMY LEFT!!!!!! Everyone had to trade with us. Everyone had to use us. And we let them.

HACK!

What fricking planet do you live on? Or are you 18 years old?

Mitt Romney was the "honorable old school republican" and the media turned someone who was probably the nicest person ever to run for the office into satan himself.

BS. BS. BS.

The industrial revolution occurred in a period of low tariffs. A period of some reprieve from the National System.

The fact the South was paying most of the protective tariffs the government had imposed on the people was a very major issue leading up to the Civil War.

Oh the tariffs built train tracks and such but a national sales tax could have done the same thing but the politically powerful yankee manufacturers wanted protectionism.

You are not very smart.

And you can label it whatever you want but at the end of the day policies pushed by the left resemble fascism more so than anything Trump has implemented.

Take your doublespeaking arse back to DU or r/politics, nobody here is falling for that shite no matter how many times you repeat it.
